MORE GLIMMER MIST CAME TODAY

Got in another huge box of glimmer mist as we were down to three bottles. As you can see I have already been playing with it! (you should see my hands) The tag is just a regular manilla tag that is crinkled up then layed flat again and spritzed with glimmer mist. I used it on the layouts on the right on the silk flowers, chipboard, the button and the letters. I tried out the liquid pearls on the big blue flower and love the look of it. The photos are of Jan and Vicki, two of our teachers. These will be on display at the store so stop by and look at what glimmer mist does. This time I ordered I ordered the bigger bottles. I already bought quite a few bottles for my scrapbook stash. I love the pearl and the gold!!! Don't forget to sign up for classes on September 8 as we want Vicki to come back and teach more so we need to get the classes filled up. Also met a lady today who is going to teach a Kaleidoscope Class. She brought in samples and I cannot even wait to take the class. The pages were absolutely beautiful!!

Senior Pictures

Today it was so hot out! Mondays we are closed so I can imprint at the store. There were only a few to do this morning so I had the rest of the day off. I did lots of laundry and then had lunch with my son Paul and then we went and took some photo's of him for his senior pictures. I actually paid for senior photos over the summer and was not thrilled with them and thought I would try taking some. My husband already is taking the photos and digitally scrapbooking them.

Football Game

Today I was off work to go to my youngest sons football game. He plays for the EVW team "The Packers". I know I have not been thrilled about him playing football as he is so little. But today was a wonderful day as I watched my 18 year old son helping my 8 year old son get all geared up and giving him advice on the field and cheering him on. It brought tears to my eyes to see the love between them. The boys are so different as my oldest son Paul was alway a head taller than all the other boys. He played center for the Elkhorn High School team until he started college. Zacheus is the opposite and is the smallest on his team as he was very premature and has never caught up in size but he sure made up for it today in speed! He did awesome! Of course I am now on the hunt for Green Bay Packers scrapbook items! hee hee

GLIMMER MIST

I am so in love with glimmer mist. It is a spray bottle of liquid that gives whatever you spray it on color and a sparkly sheen. Not glitter but more like a pearly sheen. I have been putting it on everything! Today on the way to work I stopped at a garage sale and found some pretty doilies and thought they would look better pink. Well I sprayed them with glimmer mist and when I lifted it off the paper, I loved the look of the paper behind it too. (SEE PHOTO) I also sprayed the wooden scrabble letters with glimmer mist. It is absolutely beautiful on the silk flowers. I am so into white flowers as you can chalk them, ink them, and glimmer mist them. Try white eyelets too as you can use sharpee markers or ink pads to make them whatever color you need.

I just got a delivery and we got the 12 flex rulers! These have been backordered for quite awhile.

Friday August 24 at 7:00 pm. There will be 4 different stations set up for the demonstrations.

The clay is AWESOME!!! Liz and I made a bunch of embellishments out of it a couple weeks ago and the pages we used it on are on display at the store. It is a soft clay that you can air dry and it does not shrink or fade, acid free for your cards or scrapbooks. You can paint it, or our favorite stickles! Acrylic paint or glitters can be mixed with the clays. The possibilities are endless!

Back to school! Come Crop all day!

Well our kids all went back to school today. What a beautiful and cool morning it was which was such a blessing. People have been asking me about my kids and I have Paul, a senior, Diva Liz is a sophomore and the twins are in third grade. I will be lost without the twins keeping me company at the store. I know they will miss it too.

If you want to come in and crop while your kids are at school, the work room is open. If you call 24 hours ahead I can be at the store earlier so you can come right to the store after dropping your kids off at school.

Cricut Rental

Starting September 8 we will begin renting Cricut Cartridges. You will be able to rent them for a week at a time. The best thing is, if you like the cartridge and want to keep it, your rental price paid is deducted from the price. This is a great way to get to try different cartridges without the huge investment.

Well today was quite a day. My daughter was out of town and we were so busy at the store. It reminded me how much I love and appreciate my daughter Liz.

I did get more product in and put out tonight when things slowed down.



Items that came in:

12" photos. These are perect in the cricut machines! These were the ones ordered at CHA and some we had custom made. We got in 22 new. Things like a light house, carousel, Chicago, diapers, and one of my favorites is the ice cream sundae. I already did a page with it tonight. Check it out at the store. We also got in more of the shotgun shell ones and camoflage. I just cannot keep those two in.

Laser cuts for military, these are 12 inch and very intricut. There is also one of Iwo Jima. And also a big Crab. Then there is 12 inch pages that are laser cut and I got in Bowling, Track and Field and also Gymnastics.

Tons of new ribbons we ordered at CHA. Over 300 rolls. We got in lots of embelishements and I love the new fish brads, they are adorable! There are boy scout ones, many other shapes too. We got in a new craft hammer that is heavier than the normal craft hammers. I have one and had been hunting for where to order them for quite awhile and found the maker of them at CHA.

We got in these all in one tools that are x-acto knives that interchange with a paper piercer, and embossing tools.

What a hot day!

It was so hot out today. Today the store is closed and I imprinted a bunch of albums in the morning. There were three boxes delivered today which I will go through tomorrow.

The rest of the day I spent with the kids. I am trying to get in as much quality time in with the kids as I possibly can before school starts. School should start after Labor Day like it did in the OLD days when I was a kid. Since it was so hot today the kids and I went swimming. Tonight my 8 year old had football practice and it was so hot for the little guys. (I would have cancelled it) hee hee

Sunday's Storm

We started off today by going to church and when we came out of church it was like a steam bath outside today so I took the twins and Paul to see a movie. We went to see Underdog (which was a cute movie). Trevor worked at the store today and the digital printing is just about ready! We will even have a spot you can come and digitally scrapbook. It will be awesome!

We will have basic digital scrapbooking classes and advanced classes starting September 8. Come to our grand opening celebration to see what all is available and meet our teachers. They will be doing demonstrations. One of our digital teacher also teaches it at Metro Tech college. It will be much cheaper to take it at Precious Treasures!

Now to the interesting part of the day. When we came out of the movie there was a bad storm. I called Trevor at the store as they said it was hitting Gretna. Well he said he has never seen anything like it. The tree in front of the store broke off at the base of the trunk. He said he almost parked next to it today but then decided to park in back. God was watching out for him.
The roof was leaking again at the store and Trevor had to cover things and move things. Needless to say he had an interesting day! Even with all that going he said the store was busy all day. I think I owe him a movie or dinner for all he had to go through. :)

Last night I spent the night at a hotel as my mother in law and my two nieces were in from out of town. Needless to say I got no sleep in a full size bed with a kids on each side of me sleeping. My nieces have gotten so big though, one is 4 and one is 7. Hubby took them all to the zoo yesterday and they had so much fun.

Today... well Kathy one of my sales reps was at the store all day going over MORE new product. I did not even get all the new product that came in yesterday put out yet and I got to Elkhorn today and there were 6 HUGE boxes that were delivered there. I will make a list of what is in them tomorrow as I need to get as much put out before "Diva Crop Night" saturday night! I do know one is all the Nebraska stuff I have had so many customers waiting for.

I am not going to make it up until the news tonight. Night all!

I have had lots of time today as there was a terrible accident on the interstate and I came in at 9:30 and had to get a police officer let me in the mall parking lot. They closed the interstate. REMINISCE..HUGE ORDER IN

I just got in 52 packs of paper from reminisce. Not a lot of new stuff though. Just with the two large crops the last two weekends we were wiped out.

One thing I did get was the coordinating papers for the popular line of papers for mom, cousins, grandma, etc. Also a really neat turkey paper. We have all the papers with the numbers all over them again. These are great for birthdays, grade levels etc. I just cannot keep those in. The other new one was a boys line of papers.

Put more stuff on the clearance rack! Lots of albums.

THE NEW BASIC GREY IS HERE!

WOO HOO!!! The Basic Grey is here. At least most of it. ALL the new papers and die cuts etc from the 4 new lines came. Also the AWESOME chipboard tool sets came. We got to try these at convention and I give my stamp of approval and I bought a set for my scrapbook bag. Stop by and I will show you how wonderful they are.

Monday..back to school sales at the mall

Today I did imprinting at the store and then spent the rest of the day with the kids getting things for back to school. JC Penneys is having 40% off their lowest clearance prices. I got my hubby the premium Docker pants that were $60.00 for only 17.99. I love a good sale! Limited Too and Justice is doing bonus Bucks and Gap had buy one get one half price on jeans. With 4 kids those back to school dollars have to sssttttrrrreeeettttcccccchhhhhhhhh! :) Oh the bummer thing of the day was Williams and Sonoma is gone from Oak View Mall. I loved that store.

Tonight my baby boy who is now 8 had his first football practice. Hubby and I did not agree on him playing as he is so little. Our older son at that age was about a foot taller and huge and now he is \ 6 foot 4 and wears a size 16 shoes so he was built for football. But Zacheus is so little that he could be just a quarterback or running back as he is fast. But you know the first time he gets hurt that hubby is in the dog house.

The team he is playing for is the Packers so all who know me know I must find a Green Bay Packers purse. So if you spot one anywhere let me know. My daughter Liz found a PINK green bay Jersey!

Well going to go work on my web page. I cannot wait to get to work tomorrow and see what new comes!

Sunday...a day off! woo hoo!

Today was a great day! I slept in and hubby worked for me. I got to spend some quality time swimming with the kids. Well at least until my daughter Liz got a better offer and went out with friends to Village Point. My son Paul is out of town trap shooting this weekend so it was just the twins and I all day.

I got a lot done around the house. I was in one of those moods to toss things out. The trash man comes in the morning and you should see my curb! It is FULL! I always feel better after a purge of junk.

KING CROPPER

Today was the Make a Wish crop and I think everyone had fun. We met so many awesome people!!! I love to see what people are working on. I will be happy when our crop room is hopping on a daily basis as I love to see people turning those memories into precious treasures, Liz and I actually got some cropping done also. We tried out some new air dry clay that you can make embellishments out of which is really fun! heck out the samples in the store. I think we will order it and do a class on it.

We also had a "king cropper" spotted in the store tonight. Check out his picture on the right. If you know who it is, let us know at the store and we will give you a 25% discount on any one item. There was also the truck show at the mall which drew a huge crowd.

The only thing new for today was the Piggy Tales papers. It is the brand new line called Peter, Peter. They are the same papers the birds in the kids play area are made from. I also brought over from Elkhorn more Bazzill paper, some scrappin dreams papers, some blank tags, distressed ink pads and lots of pens.

I think I am going to try to talk hubby into working tomorrow as I put in 17 hours today and tired. I am not as young as I used to be. :)

MAKE A WISH CROP SATURDAY AUG.4 and DIVA NIGHT OPENINGS

I was notified there are more spots available due too cancellations for the Make A Wish crop at the Stamping Station Saturday August 4 if anyone is interested. It starts at 9am to midnight. Cost is 30.00. What an awesome deal as that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We also have openings for Diva Night tomorrow night from 6- midnight here at the store. Cost is 15.00 which includes dinner and prizes.

The Pink Carts Are In!

Well I just got home and there were boxes stacked taller than me of orders that came in.

All the pink rolling fold up carts from Bo Bunny are in! Over half are already sold and I am down to only 11 left. Remember when these are gone, they are gone as they were a limited edition. For those of you who prepurchased them, they will be at the store tomorrow August 2. We also received the new Bo Bunny flowers. The flex rulers are backordered.

Also the larger scrap cans are in and the COOL new snack tables that attach to your rolling crop bag are in. You have to check these out. See photos at the right.

12" PHOTO'S

Just got in to work and the order of the 12 inch photo's (AKA shotz) came. They are so popular and I am glad they reintroduced them! They are a perfect fot for the Cricut machine. I talked to the company and they are going to do some custom ones for me also! I will add a photo of an example of a 12" photo. They are great for borders and cutting titles and shapes out of. Stop by the store to see some examples.
