FUN DAY AT THE FLEA MARKET AT VENICE

My mom watched Ruth today and I got up at 6am and hit the flea market. I needed a break and it was wonderful to get out and get some fresh air and sun! I found lots of goodies! I was on the hunt for carpenters rulers for a class I am trying to get enough supplies for to teach it. I found a wonderful tub of buttons, some old maps and two metal lunch boxes as those are awesome for photo and tool storage. I even have one I use to keep my gypsy in.

I could not resist sneaking a picture of these two adorable little girls! They both were walking around with these hats on all morning and were so cute blowing on the pinwheels to make them spin.
Zacheus loves the flea market and we found a fishing pole there and his favorite thing, KETTLE CORN! I love the orange flowers I bought as they are orange gingham.

This is my favorite vendor. The ladder in the store window came from her as well as our store sign for the back entrance of the store. Oh that yellow cart Zach is pushing came from her last spring. CUTE STUFF!

I am getting ready to leave for a two day Cricut cake decorating class in Natchez, Ms, this afternoon and thought I'd share a cute picture of my niece's first birthday cake before I go.

NEW DIVA DOOR DINGERS

Here are some new Diva Door Dingers I have created. They will be available at the Harbor Farm Chick Market on 180th and Pacific Wednesday so stop by at 10am to get yours. I am working on them at the Fremont store so stop by there also and see which ones are coming and get first dibs. After I get through Liz's graduation I will take your special orders as I know many of you have asked. You can place them now for deliver June 1st. We will be able to customize them also for bedrooms with for example "Amy's Crop Room" etc.

This one is a favorite! I have made a a bunch of these and out of vintage black buttons now so grab them while you can. I am on the hunt for buttons if you

have any jars of them sitting around. :)

LIZ'S LAST SHOW CHOIR CONCERT :(

I just got home from Liz's final show choir concert and cried through it. It is hard to believe my baby girl is graduating. Being in business for 13 years many of you have watched my kids grow up also. Her graduation party will be on May 22 from 2-4 at Boyd and Charlies in Elkhorn so please stop by and wish her well. Cards can be mailed to the store.

NEW NECKLACES FROM A LOCAL ARTIST

We love to support local moms. These hand blown beaded necklaces are BEAUTIFUL! They can be put onto a chain, ribbon, made into scissor charms, fan pulls etc. Best yet.....the introductory price is only TWELVE DOLLARS! She wants to get her name out there and let people see the quality of her work. So stop by as I will have them at the store tomorrow.
She also will teach a bead blowing class for us for $50 per student and you will take home the beads you make in class. If you are interested please email amy@ptdiva.com as I know I want to take it and we need three students to do the class.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE!

I had a great mothers day. I got woken up by lots of presents and flowers. The kids got me bath and body products in a cute flower pot, flowers and new handbag! Then I took my mom and dad and sister along with my family to the art gallery for a mothers day lunch which was so good! Then I went to the chick market for awhile to work and off to a movie with a friend. A perfect day!
