IDEA / TIP PAINTBALL SCRAPBOOK PAGE IDEA
My friend Jackie will love this as her son and hubby both do Paintball. We have several papers in the store for paintball but this is a vreative idea to make your own paper. I love it and cannot wait to go try it. Would be great for remodelling pages too.

Another great video from my favorite teacher! Precious Treasures carries the full line of paint dabbers. These are HIGHLY pigmented so you dont need multiple coats and work excellent on chipboard. One of my favorite items!!!

I see many places are having classes on this now and you do not need a whole class, just a quick tip from my favorite guy. We carry the whole line of perfect pearls and as always the best price on them. I like adirondack inks when making the mists as they are by the same company as the distressed and more colors and bigger bottles.
STILL SICK
Thank you for ALL the emails and well wishes. I am still sick and Trevor took me in yesterday as I could not get my asthma under control from being sick. Please keep praying as that is the only thing that will help. The hospitals are full right now which I urge all of you to get the swine flu vaccine.

TRICK OR TREAT
I had my second surgery yesterday so my mom and Kaela are doing the trick or treat night at the store as I cannot drive. I am so bummed as I LOVE to see all the trick or treaters that come to the store. My Mom is the queen Diva and Kaela is our newest Diva in the family. I am sure they will have a lot of fun.

GUMP IS READY TO TRICK OR TREAT come see him Thursday
Gump is all ready to trick or treat. Stop by this Thursday night at the store as the stores are all handing out treats and we will have Gump there in his cute little pumpkin outfit. We will see about bringing Daisy as she is quite the barker. I bought a pumpkin outfit for her but it was too big so I will have to exchange it.

THE ANIMALS LIKE EVERYONE HOME
The animals are thrilled with everyone home. Gumby the goat has been inside cuddling and cries if he has to go outside. I can see this is going to be a problem. LOL At least he is a tiny goat. Daisy just crawls up with whoever is laying down and goes back to sleep. LOL 
H1N1
I had to go to the doctor yesterday as my flu has gone into my chest and I am now fighting pneumonia on top of the h1n1. Three kids home sick....calgon take me away. The doctors office was scary as it was packed with people and everyone was masked. They need to get the vaccine for everyone. They did not have the regular flu or the h1n1 available at the doctor. How does that happen?
NOTE: We are germaphobic at the store and have been disinfecting everything constantly. And yes, Kaela has banned me from there until I am well.

This is a SPECIAL event! ;) Bring in a recipe for others to jot down, (or you can copy them and bring it that way) But also bring it made up.....so we can try it!!
We will make up recipe books!! This will be a fun workshop, you'll get to eat, drink and be merry!! as well as go home with a great project!!
This will be a kit class , so we will need to know you are coming. Please let us know by Wednesday Oct. 21st if you are coming FOR SURE.
You will get a choice to make a vintage recipe book, or a more modern looking recipe book. I have posted photos of each along with this note. When you register for class PLEASE be sure to let us know which book you want to make!

OUR NEW GOAT
One of our customers was trying to find a home for this baby goat and if you know me I am the one who brings home any stray animal or person. LOL We have not named him yet. Any suggestions? It is a boy.

SURGERY WENT WELL
Love how Paula took a slide and made it vintage.
Surgery went well, I have the second part of it on the 21st. I did go back to work yesterday but sat as Vicki and the girls were all coming to the store for the monthly get together and it was Vicki's birthday so I had to be there. I took today off as I had to go back to the hospital for an ultrasound so I am resting it today. :)

OFF TO SURGERY
Today is my first surgery on my knee. It will teach me to hop over fence huh? LOL Please pray everything goes well. Please stop by the store and shop as Kaela is there and we appreciate your support now more than ever as surgery is not cheap. Obama's plan better be good. LOL :)

TRADE SHOW
Stop by the store as we got a lot at the trade show! We got several different lines of scrapbook bags that are so Diva. We also got in a new line of scrapbook cards that you fill in and add to pages. There is a lot more jewelry including sterling silver rings as I have had so many requests. We also have a lot coming that we ordered.

CLOSED ON MONDAY
Reminder that we will be closed Monday. We are attending a trade show and will not be back from the trip until Monday night.
I will be at the store Tuesday and off the rest of the week as I am having my knee surgery Wednesday and while they are doing it they are stripping the vericose veins on that leg. fun fun! Please be in prayer everything goes well. :)

HARD AT WORK AT THE STORE
The basement will need a lot of work but a chandelier is always a good start!
I am getting so anxious to get the crop room done. We got a flat screen TV for it yesterday and got it hung. We are getting close on getting the area cleared in the store to add the opening for the basement stairs. Once we get that done all the cabinets etc are coming out of the crop room to allow for more room in there. (I can't wait)
