The boxes just keep coming this week to stock the store for our AWESOME National Scrapbook Day Event this weekend. To make room we are having a HUGE sidewalk sale this Saturday and Sunday! Don't miss it!

We always give a 30% discount off the Simply Renee Ribbon Holders. They take 3 business days to come in if we donot have them in stock. I finally got mine hung in my crop room at home and used the CTMH stamp envelopes to hang on it and wrapped ribbons I do not have on rolls around a piece of chipboard to go in each envelope. You could also use zip lock bags.

OF COURSE all my rolled ribbons are WHITE!!! I am always preaching white ribbons, letters, brads, buttons etc. With ink pads, chalks, sharpies, stickles, paint etc you can make them any color you want to match your layout and not have to carry so much stuff to crops.

If you have any of the Cricut Rewards certificates (unused) we will pay give you $10.00 gift certificate for them.

We just added 9 more cartridges to the Cricut Rentals! The rentals have become very popular especially with Disney Cartridges. You can try before you buy! We have both sizes of machines in our crop room for your use. The Scrapping Station at the Gretna Outlet Mall also carries a large selection of Cricut Cartridges.

Add photos to these awesome stars for a one of a kind piece of art. Look for the class coming in may

What is missing here?

I found this on a facebook survey. Who would think of turning a TAMPON into a ghost???? I was laughing so hard as the guy next door hangs ghosts in his tree out front every Halloween. I was thinking he could hang these and if it rained the ghosts would grow! LOL Ok, I have a very warped sense of humor! :)

That Pottery Place frame after. I did not think it would even come out as she told me 3 coats of paint and by the time I changed my mind a dozen times I had about 20 coats. LOL

It is true, we found a place that has Dim Sum every day in Omaha. It is called Gold Mountain on 156th and Maple. She said on weekends they have a bigger selection but tonight there were about 20 varieties to try. If you have never had dim sum it is something you have to experience. We love travelling to Chicago as there is a China Town area that has the most amazing dim sum and we have never found it in Omaha until today. Check it out and tell them you read it on the blog.

We also have both sizes of cricut machines in the crop room to use or we rent cartridges by the week you can take home and if you decide to purchase it, the rental fees go toward the purchase. But it is great if you want Disney, or Hello Kitty etc as it is not one you will use over and over.

Finally found a clear acrylic that is thinner to cut on the Cricut. I have 12x12 sheets. We also carry the thicker acrylic and MANY dies to cut your own acrylic albums with the Grand Mark accu-cut machine. (we have over 1000 dies)

Put them on a book shelf or in a file cabinet. We just got a case in and have two more cases on the way. As soon as I seen them I fell in love with the storage idea as I like having my books with my cartridges. Blogger Sale: Order 12 packs and get them for 30% off discount and if you are out of Nebraska you save another 7% as there is no tax! ($109.12 for 12) If buying 12 they can be shipped directly to you at no extra charge.

Scraponizer Cricut Storage Solutions

I did not take many pictures at all (so not like me). I ended up doing easter dinner as my mom broke her right arm and using moms recipes, it all came out great!

Since we are in a condo now, we do not have a big yard but there is a hill on the side of our place and the twins have been "grass boarding" and having a blast. Where they came up with idea, I have no clue!

This is our neighbors Ed and Fran's house in Elkhorn that burned on Easter. It was so sad. They got out ok but it is a complete loss inside. :(

We LOVE to play the game called "Things".
It is a Target exclusive game and such a blast. You will laugh till it hurts.

My sister. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Our dog Daisy loved to nap with her.

The Kids Easter Baskets. Ready for their sugar high.

Vicki posted some information on her web site about the classes. Also I will have the project photos shown at the store tomorrow so stop by and check them out.

We are once again going to be participating in the fun filled Heartland Hop. Dates are July 10-19th. We will have an early bird special so stay tuned. Heartland Hop is so much fun, You travel to all the scrapbook stores and have a passport you get stamped at each one and do a make and take at each store. When you complete the passport you get entered into drawings for HUGE prizes!

It is finally filling up and going to be a HUGE party! Everyone always wins a prize at our crops and the classes this year are SPECTACULAR!!!!! We have the famous designer Vicki Chrisman coming to town to teach a whole day worth of classes. Even at CHA and other trade shows her classes are always full. Once you have taken her classes you will see why. Also there will be a whole day of Cricut classes on Sunday!!!

You will have LOTS of room to crop as we rented the Scrapping Station and you know the food is always amazing and lots of it. You can BYOB, we just cannot serve it as it is against the law but as long as you are 21 please feel free to bring your own.

CLASSES: Even if you are not coming for the weekend you can sign up for the classes. They will be held at the store. If you did not get a class list email and I will send them to you as well as registration forms and those can be faxed into 402-763-9675 during store hours or call in to pay by phone.

I took some much needed time off to spend some time with the kids. Yesterday we had a full day. We went to the Chick Market, The Pottery Place, B.G.'s for lunch, the Hannah Montana Movie and ended with a girls night back home with friends.

This is before the pottery pieces are fired. Stay tuned for next
Saturdays photo's of the finished projects.
The girls seen the easter bunny at Village Point.

We had a girls night at my condo last night and I thought I would share the project I made. These metal star are at Gordman's right now and this one is about 20 inches high. They come in various sizes. I covered the whole thing in paper using spray adhesive meant for paper (sold at Precious Treasures of course) And then just cut photo's to fit. To cover up the seams I used various ribbons. After completed I covered the whole thing in diamond glaze for a beautiful shine.

The possibilities are endless with these stars and very inexpensive decor. Make them for Mothers or Fathers day gifts.

From Veronica: Starting in May, I am forming a new club at Precious Treasures just for Cricut users. We will meet once a month for 2-3 hours to work on a project that I will design, as well as share ideas and cartridges. This is a great way to meet other Cricut users, learn new tips, tricks and techniques and sample different cartridges to decide if you want them before you buy them.
If you are interested in joining my new club, please email me at and let me know when is the best time for you to meet. Depending on the response I get, I may start two groups based on skills or when you'd like to meet.
Stay tuned for more details! ~ Veronica

Hi! Veronica, the scrapbook instructor here! I have great news. This week, I finally bought my very own Cricut machine. Yes, I've taught nearly a hundred people to use their machines, but I didn't even have one for myself. I just always had access to one if I needed it. But I recently decided to reward myself with a Cricut Expressions.
My machine arrived Thursday, but because I was so busy with other things I didn't even get to open it until Friday. And once I opened it, the kids were more excited than I was. Mackenzie was the first person to cut anything! Figures!

And here is what she made. Very creative, except Dad wasn't happy with the tape.

Even Bob got into the action.

But I am glad that they are interested in using it, just as long as they don't get better than I am. You know how kids master technology faster than their parents! ~ Veronica

Miss Liz had a great time at Elkhorns prom and is back home asleep this morning. She got voted best dressed. (proud mamma) Of course I took about 100 photos of the kids and had them back before they even went to dinner. :) I have more I will share of the group but too yucky out today to head to costco to get them printed. brrrrr.........

I was bummed as I always take the kids out to the duck pond to take their pictures and it was just too windy so I took them inside. If you missed my son Paul's prom pictures last year click here

This was after they finally got the flowers on. LOL
