DONT MISS THESE CLASSES

Sign up today for a weekend of classes. Vicki Chrisman is our special guest teacher the weekend of May 2-3. She is in almost any magazine you pick up and even had a magazine cover this month. If you did not get a list of the classes register at http://www.ptdiva.com/ and another list will come out Tuesday. There is an email you have to reply to in order for you to be added to the list.
Since I will not get to take the classes that weekend I got a sneak peek at one of Vicki's classes as I went to the Day at theLoft in Fremont today. Becky just got a new loft downtown for her photography studio and it is awesome! http://www.beckynovacekphotography.com/ Vicki taught the most wonderful shadowbox class. It is a MUST! Sign up asap at Precious Treasures as you do not want to miss it. Also Becky Novacek taught a mini album class, we had a great lunch and lots of fun. And you know what a big Tilly and the Wall music group fan I am, well Neely was there! It was great seeing her. She came to surprise her mom Jan (vicki's sister). Check out her new video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVNycEoGtnQ

I love this idea of strips. It would be great on a scrapbook page and a wonderful way to use up scraps. I think I will use the idea on next round of page swaps.

I love the brick wall. It has always been a dream to live in a loft downtown as I love the brick look and looking out over the city.

Steps to the loft.

Liz got her prom dress. She found it online for over $300 and we found the same one on ebay for $200. (nuts huh?) She has been dieting with me and she lost a little too much as it was a little big. I told her just not to diet any more before prom. LOL (funny she could not stop texting her boyfriend long enough for a photo) Young love..... If you were at the Make a Wish crop when Liz went to homecoming and Karen had nail polish in her purse and painted her nails, someone swapped shoes with her as she game in argyle print flats etc. It was the funniest thing!!! That was before the boyfriend and she will have it all together I am sure for this dance. Stay tuned for prom photo's.

PAUL STARTED A NEW JOB YESTERDAY

Paul was working for FCC in Fremont and they did lay offs just like a lot of companies are doing right now. He started working for Monarch Fencing yesterday which is one of the best companies in Omaha for fencing so he was pretty excited. He is still in college and almost done with the first degree and going to start a business degree next. I told him I would pay for his college as long as he was not married or kids. (motivation) I love kaela his fiance but we all know how it goes once you get married, school gets put on the back burner. LOL They are young so have plenty of time.

IDEA / TIP organizing

Ok everyone who knows me KNOWS I am a purse addict! I spent last night organizing my closet. I incorporated photos into my organization taking photos of each item in the boxes. This could be easily done with your scrapbook supplies also. Just snap a quick digital picture of contents of boxes so you do not pull out box after box looking for something.

I just discovered Costco's photo printing. I like matte photos and they do them there in under an hour. Great price also!

TIP / IDEA Organizing

One of my favorite things to organize with is a Pampered Chef tool turn about. They now come in black also. I use them as shown below in my crop room. I also have them in the kids rooms for markers, crayons etc and have one on my dressing table for make up brushes, eye pencils etc. Could also be used in the garage for screw drivers etc. WONDERFUL PRODUCT!

TWINS SICK

The twins have not kept anything down since last wednesday and I had them to the doctor on Monday and they ran tests and just found the white count up and proteins in their urine. Since Monday they have not been any better and I took them to the hospital this morning as they were dehydrated. They ran tests all day and we still do not have a cause. I worried it may be carbon monoxide as we just moved to a condo and thats when the sickness started.

Please pray they find out what is causing Ruth and Zacheus to be so sick and they get to feeling better.

Huge thanks to Toyja and Veronica for working the store.

THE KIDS AND I ARE MOVED: THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Thank you everyone for your patience and help during this VERY difficult time. Thank you to Veronica and Tawnya for holding Friday and Saturday nights crops and for Lindsay and Hannah working the whole weekend by themselves. Also for everyone else for your prayers and well wishes during the move.

The kids and I got moved to an apartment over the weekend and the twins are doing well. It hs been very hard as we have lived in our home since Liz was born and she is going on 18 now. Liz cries a lot as she has to share a room with her sister. But so far no fighting has happened between them. (knock on wood) It is just getting used to sharing your space. We all are getting used to getting up a lot earlier to make the drive to school *yawn* But other than that we are all hanging in there and taking one day at a time and all getting a lot closer to God which is wonderful. :)

The song "Whatever You're Doing" by Sanctus Real has become the kids and I "theme song" and it has helped us through the struggle of all we are going through right now. Video: http://www.tangle.com/view_video.php?viewkey=d2f875f11018c951f781

Here are the Lyrics.....

It's time for healing time to move on
It's time to fix what's been broken too long
Time make right what has been wrong
It's time to find my way to where I belong
There's a wave that's crashing over me
All I can do is surrender

(Chorus)
Whatever you're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos somehow there's peace
It's hard to surrender to what I can't see
but I'm giving in to something heavenly

Time for a milestone
Time to begin again
Revaluate who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow your will
or just climbing aimlessly over these hills
So show me what it is you want from me
I give everything I surrender...
To...

(Chorus)

Time to face up
Clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out
That I've wanted to say for so many years
Time to to release all my held back tears

Whatever you're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but I believe
You're up to something bigger than me
Larger than life something heavenly

Whatever you're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but now I can see
This something bigger than me
Larger than life something heavenly
Something heavenly

It's time to face up
Clean this old house
Time breathe in and let everything out
