TIP / IDEA Alcohol Inks and pigment ink and Caroline spray

I LOVE alcohol inks. I found this lunch box tin at the Goodwill and knew it was the proper size for my stickles but it was so plain.....

Alcohol Inks to the rescue! I inked the whole can and then used silver pigment ink mixed with a little blending solution and stamped the can. Using the blending solution with the pigment gives it a blended color look. I finished it off with a coat of Caroline Spray and it seals it and is totally acid free. You can see the can in the "Ranger" section of the store.

That is a stamp of Tim Holtz! LOL

WE WORKED ON MORE MONSTER BOOK SAMPLES TONIGHT

Amy and I worked on making more samples for her Monster Creations books and kits. I LOVE the books and have so much fun making them. I used Melissa Francis, Jenni Bowlin and a Jolee.
I need to add one more book ring and I think I am changing the wording on the front to "Soul Mates". I love all the Melissa Francis Francis and embellishments!!!

MONSTER CREATIONS WOOD BOOKS AND PROJECTS

Come see our huge display of Monster Creations wood books and projects. If you like Kaiser Craft projects you will LOVE these. They are larger and also have an acrylic sheet included for a cover and low prices. Best yet, they are made in OMAHA! A friend of mine makes them and they are awesome and I would rather support local companies. We have samples made up of the books also for you to look at or gather three friends and we can teach a class on any of the kits.

My mom even made a display for the store and did an awesome job.
She Scrapbooked when I was a baby. She is the queen. :)
I still am not happy with the way I have things hung but i is coming together.
I may have to pick Vicki's brain for ideas. :)

Vicki made this beautiful wedding dress made out of all paper. Stop by the store to see it as the pictures do not do it justice.

FAVORITE THINGS

My friend Vicki did these fairies a loooong time ago and I have never quit thinking about them. Well Crafty secrets just came out with a altered fairy kit and I found a glass done at the "Corner Nook" and got time today to make them!

Above are Vicki's Fairies. She used real photographs on some of them.

Above is my version of the fairies. I need to find a cake stand yet. As soon as I can find more wooden spools I will take some over to the Chick Market.

I HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL DAY!

I dedicated a section of the store to the brand "Crafty Secrets". Well my friend Vicki designs for them so I asked her if if she could make some samples for that section of the store. Well low and behold she showed up with the whole crew today and had tons of Craft Secrets Supplies for everyone to make displays and also the most awesome cheese dip and delicious brownies. I have the most AWESOME friends ever!

The pictures are not good but I wanted to snap a couple before I took them to the Chick Market. I took them over tonight so stop by tomorrow and get yours.
