BEST DAY EVER!!!!

I had the best day! My daughter Liz came home from college. It was wonderful she went to church with me and after all the kids went with me to lunch. What an AWESOME DAY!!!! As the kids grow up it is so hard to get them all together at once. It was not even a holiday!!! :)

A SCREW ON BUTTON???

I collect vintage buttons and we sell them at the store. This last batch I bought from Venice Antiques was AMAZING!!! There were some glass buttons, some that were leather roses. The most interesting were these screw on buttons as I have never seen anything like them.

ZACHEUS' FIRST AID KIT

Zacheus is at crop with me tonight and he is so creative. He is a boy scout and created his own first aid kit with an accucut box die and even made little boxes to go inside. I was very impressed!

DARREN BRASS FROM MIAMI INK

I got a tattoo from Darren Brass from Miami Ink when I was at the Florida trade show. I FINALLY got the poster framed and put up at the store today. We had gone to Miami Ink just to see it and Darren had a cancellation so I took the spot. I did not plan on another tattoo so I had no idea what to get and ended up just having him create a logo for the store. I love it!

TIP/IDEA A FUNny PROJECT FOR YOU slippers

Need to put a smile on someones face who is not feeling well, in the hospital, just had a baby etc? Make them some home-made slippers. If this does not put a smile on their face, nothing will. We sell the little silk roses at the store and any local drug store sells the rest. LOL

MY PINK WALKER

I have to have both knees replaced by the end of this year and the doctor said I will be with a walker for quite awhile. Well if I have to be stuck with a walker I will be doing it in style of course. Today it got the first coat of pink paint. It will totally be blinged out by the time I am done with it. There has been a huge discussion about it on facebook with all kinds of ideas. Everything from a disco ball hanging on the front to a horn. LOL I am not looking forward to the surgeries but I have been working standing on my feet since I was 15 and it has taken its toll on me. I am looking forward to hopefully 2011 being in a lot less pain. :)
