THE RINGS ARE IN!

TODAY IS THE TWINS BIRTHDAY

Today the twins turned 11. When they were born it was a huge snowstorm. We went to Thunder Alley now that we no longer have to boycott it as Steve Sempeck owns it now. It is HUGE! It was a lot of fun! We are going to go there a lot more. It is hard to believe the twins will be off to junior high next year. My babies are growing up.

A funny: I got Zach and Ruth new bikes for birthday and Zacheus said "MOM! This bike has never been used!" Being the youngest kids they always get hand me downs. LOL He was so excited and just kept hugging me. They hid the twins bikes for me at the bowling alley and then brought them out after the twins had opened all their other gifts. The staff at Thunder Alley is awesome!

WEIRD....

This was kind of weird. I stopped for coffee today after work and was reading that little newspaper in the coffee shop and this was my horoscope for today. What was weird as I closed the store to rearrange it and trying to organize more. Maybe I should get a lotto ticket with those numbers? 33 is my lucky number too. do do do do, do do do do....(twilight zone music) LOL

SOME IDEAS FOR YOU

This is just a plain 3 ring binder that Sara altered. Isn't it adorable? They are having a birthday party at the store Friday night and this is what the high schoolers are going to make.

This is the tin we keep receipts in at the Chick Market in Omaha. I just think it is adorable! You open it up and there are magnets on the lid to add notes.

NEW CLASS DISPLAY CABINET

I have been on the hunt for a corner cabinet for the class display wall and FINALLY found the perfect one. It is made from a door cut in half! It has a cool glass door knob and even an old lock. It is perfect! Stop by and check it out. There are some huge changes going on at the store right now.

PLAYHOUSE IS GONE....

It was really sad to see the playhouse go today. We have always had it at the store. We are making a lot of changes at the store and needed the room so we put it on Craigslist and it sold right away. We are expanding the Heritage Section of the store. We will still have the toy box and toys when your little ones come in.

Corner Nook is going out of business and everything is 40-50 percent off. You should check out the deals! The money we got for the playhouse I bought this piece of furniture. I put all the individual alphabets in the drawers.

We are expanding the Crafty Secrets section of the store. Vicki Chrisman is going to make some displays/samples for the wall. Their products are adorable!!!!

A TOUR OF ACCUCUT AKA TEK INDUSTRIES

I had the most awesome morning as I went on a tour of the Accucut Company. It was very exciting to see how it all "happens". I am a huge fan of accucut as with these electronic die cutters it takes too much time and does not always cut. (I am not a patient person) LOL

There is a lady there that all she does is makes projects and displays all day. That job would be heaven! She said she has been working there for over 10 years and I can see why. :)

and did an awesome job!!!! They wanted me in the photo but I was running late as Zacheus is on safety patrol this week and I did not even get my hair dry before I had to get out the door and had to be at accucut by 8:30am.
Couldn't you just see winning a contest and getting to grab all the dies you could fit in a shopping cart in 10 seconds? hahahahahaha I was amazed at how many dies were in the warehouse and how they have such and awesome system of packing orders.


Terra surprised me with the gift of a die for our store. So come in and try it out! I think these birds need crowns :)

IT'S ALL WHITE CLASS WILL BE CHANGED

I am going to have to change the "Its All White" class to a all day workshop or a 6-11 Friday night class. It covers so many techniques and needs to be much longer. I want you to learn as much as possible. This is for the more advanced scrapbooker that wants to learn new techniques. I will get the calendar switched this week to reflect the new times.
