WHAT A BUSY DAY! a funny!

I was at work by 8 and Sarah was there about 9am and we visited all day until 2:30 as she had to go pick up her kids. She is such a sweetheart and so talented. Rosemary was in working today as she had to imprint napkins and she stayed until closing which it was nice to get to visit with her also today. (I love my job!)

The store was steady with customers all day and my FAVORITE customers were two ladies who were retired. They are from Des Moines and heard about our store and stopped in and they were a hoot! One of the ladies picked out a purse she wanted the other one to buy her for Christmas. So the other lady brought it up to pay for it and snuck a "You Know You Are a Scrapbooker If" calendars in also. She laughed as she "My friend will never remember I bought it for her and heck I probably won't remember I bought it for her." They cracked me up! They asked me about a quilt museum and I found directions to one in Lincoln so they were heading there and going to stay all night there and said they will stop back and see me tomorrow.

I just love the friendships between girlfriends. Girlfriends in life are a must. Especially if you are married as we need our friends to talk to, cry with, vent to etc. If we did not have them we would drive our hubbies nuts! So next time he complains about you going out with your friends to scrapbook etc. just tell him, if he complains then he has to sit and listen to you. If your husband is like mine he would open the front door for you and tell you "Have a great time". LOL

PICTURES OF JEWELRY

Look how talented Miss Sarah is! I love the ones she calls frosting. They have a wave of silver around the edges. If you are wanting a HUSKER one do not wait as there is now a beer garden and big screen TV's at our mall on game days so Husker stuff goes fast. We already had to reorder Husker paper after just the first game.

I love the clips she has for the charms so they can be layered. The little beadies are adorable.
Get your Christmas list together and get to Precious Treasures for the best selection. There is one that is shaped like a home and on one side it says Blossom and one side it says Grow. This would be a perfect gift for a daugher off to college or who just got married.

See the frosting on the one with "Go Big Red". I love the coffee angel. Also "Be Still and Know that I Am God" is one of my favorite verses as God reminds me of that one very often.

When you wish upon a star i a perfect one to wear to the Make A Wish Crop. Sarah is making me some for Scrap Pink also. Lots of cupcakes, Paris, Fremont and Lincoln Nebraska ones too.

Check out all the Nebraska ones. The double bubble ones are so unique. There are also some that are like little shadow boxes where things move on the inside.

BROWN DOG ART JEWELRY IS HERE!!!

You are going to LOVE the Brown Dog Art Jewelry! Locally made and we got in lots! My favorite is all the Nebraska Husker jewelry. They are all hand made. If you want custom ones done with family photos. school names, childrens names etc please order early for Christmas.

ALL THE NEW COPIC MARKERS ARE HERE!!!

They are here finally!!! These are the most awesome markers!!! A MUST have for any stamper or scrapbooker! They have a fine tip also for journal ling in your scrapbooks. There is a broad tip for coloring in areas, or even use them on a stamp instead of an ink pad so you have less to carry when going to a crop. They are refillable and even the nibs can be replaced.

PRIORITIES

We love to hang out at Village Point as it is so relaxing just to walk around with the music going, watching people go by etc. There are concerts and carriage rides there on the weekends. It is kind of like the West Omaha's Old Market. When I retire I want to live in a loft in downtown Omaha and hang out at the Old Market people watching all day and sipping coffee. :) I dream of living in the old Brandeis Building as that is where my grandma worked. I need to sell my business for about $500,000 when I retire as Trev said that is what those condos start at. WOW! You see several Brandeis items at the store in the Diva's Powder Room and that is why I have them. I sure miss my grandma.

Tonight Ruth and I went down to Village Point as I had to get Trevor some shoes and a light jacket. Of course I HAD to stop at Archivers and say hello to everyone. I found a cute spinning pencil caddy I got for the store counter and I also had to get dog food. Three Dog Bakery has the best dog food. You can get a sample bag in there if you want to try it. (I mean you dog trying it) The puppies gobble it up. Diva is a picky eater and Daisy eats anything that is not tied down. I will have to get a picture of her as she is my little Fatty McFatty.
