What a Christmas to remember. My son brought home a salt truck with a plow to plow me out to get to my moms for Christmas day as I live in Elkhorn which is now Omaha and ever since they never clean our streets. I could get out but my brother could not so we are postponing it to tomorrow. Oh well, at least everyone is safe. :) Hope you all are staying indoors and safe and healthy. Love you all! Lindsay and Liz are both on Christmas break so stop by the store and say hello to them. ANOTHER NEW ADDITION, A GIRLFRIEND FOR BRONCO

We have another addition to our family, this is Lacey. (she looks like lace) :) She is such a sweetheart. She is a German Shorthair we got up in Herman Nebraska today. She will be a girlfriend for our dog Bronco. LOL They have 2 more if anyone is interested and are pups of Brian Frost and he has great dogs.

I get goose bumps when I see you all at the Westside Church Pageant. I even had one of our customers Deb, that I just love sit right next to me Wednesday when I finally got to watch the show. I am thrilled you all have some out and hope you have enjoyed it. Tickets sold out for the two weeks of showings within 2 days so you all were on the ball. Good for you. If you did not get a ticket email mrsamysytewart@cox.net and let me know as a few have been returned to the church. We have shows at 3:00 and 7:00 today and tomorrow and that is the last of them. Then time to get ready for Christmas. There are DVD's of the pageant also for sale.

It was always one of my favorite stores with everything from antiques, to clothes, to premade scrapbook items, to jewelry, home decor and more They also sell the wine-a-ritta mixes there too! OUR NEW ADDITION

I took a third job managing things at Pheasant Haven Hunt Club. I love being outdoors and love the challenge. I will be working both jobs plus at "The Chick Market" until I get Pheasant Haven up on its feet and trying to afford college for Liz. Thank you all for your support!!! Love you all! And in answer to all the emails, yes our pet goat is fine, he is in a shed out of the wind and has a heated water bowl and even has a winter coat on. LOL I have been doing work for a local hunt club who is going to put in a small petting zoo so he will eventually go out there :)

P.T.'s PICKS ROCK CANDY STICKLES AS BEST NEW PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2009

Tim Holtz's rock candy stickles was our choice for best new product of 2009. We have always have been a fan of stickles but this one is different. You can heat it to dry and it is not so sparkly. It looks like sugar when it dries. Try using copic markers over it or alcohol inks. It will WOW you!

Happy Holidays! It's Veronica, again.

If you have been shopping for Cricut stuff recently, you've probably noticed there are quite a few new cartridges out there. Some are limited edition and have fewer images, others are available only through certain stores.I love to explore new cartridges and play with them, but I am picky about which ones I will buy. I picked up Everyday Paper Dolls and From My Kitchen on the day after Thanksgiving. I am not sure why I like From My Kitchen. I just do. But last night, I decided to design some sample pages and used the kitchen cart. The picture on the left is what I came up with. The title and the gingerbread men are both from the cartridge. And I added stickles to the gingerbread men for some "bling."

Also, if you have the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the Cricut, did you know that you can make your own Christmas gift tags and personalize them, too, using the End Cap feature. I made the one below for my son. I can show you how to do that, and much more, during my Advanced Cricut class -- the next one is Thurs., Dec. 17.
