TIP: HOW TO CARRY LESS COLORS OF PAPER TO A CROP USING VERSAMARK

Do you love the monochromatic look? I love to do a background of one color and then mat or border with a color just a shade darker or vice-versa. As you know I like to carry as little as possible to a crop so I carry basic colors and then to make them a shade darker just rub the paper with a versa mark ink pad. It will make it a shade darker.. Versa Mark is a watermark ink that comes in full size stamp pads, 1 inch and in a pen/brush form. Stop by and I will show you how it works.

  • This technique works great with the cricut when you are doing layers, shadows etc.
  • Don't like the antique/vintage look? Like those bright bold colors? Try antiquing the edges with a versa mark pad instead of the brown/black ones...you will love the look!
