took Tuesday and Wednesday off to spend some time with the kids and get them ready for school. We decided since gas is finally going down to venture out to Shadow Lake. I keep hearing about it from customers. We had fun and the kids got some school clothes. We still like Village Point better as Shadow Lake is very spread apart. It kind of reminds me of the Legacy shopping center in Kansas City.
I took the kids to see Space Chimps which was alright. We are hoping to go the zoo tomorrow.
Check out the pink Limo. It belongs to the Sweet and Sassy store. I asked them about renting it for the Heartland Hop but it is just for birthday parties. I wonder if there is an age limit???

Ruth and I did like he Ulta store at Shadow Lake. We are Sephora Junkies and Ulta was like that but also had hair items. We did check out the Sephora in JC Penneys. They did not carry my brand of cosmetics at the Sephora. I did not know they all have different things. The brand I use is Make Up For Ever. I did buy this eyeshadow primer from there by Urban Decay and LOVE IT! I highly recommend it. It does not crease and keeps your eyeshadow true to color all day. I worked 13 hours today and it still looked like I just put it on.
We checked out a place called Fat Burger. It was ok.... Then later when we were leaving we found Wheatfields...DARN! We would have eaten lunch here but stopped in for a little dessert. There went my diet for that day.
