I always use sharpie markers to color brads, ribbons and embellishments. A customer just told me she uses staz on ink pads. What a great idea as with anyone doing acrylic they have about every color of Staz-On ink pads alrready!
Another thing to try is alcohol ink on metal embellishments. They will even color book rings.
