VERY PROUD OF MISS LIZ

Our pastor at Westside church in Omaha Nebraska called to ask if Liz would be interviewed as his sermon on devotional / prayer time. Liz is very consistant in her quiet time with God and I am very proud of her. She schedules it into every day and you can tell if she misses it as she is very "owly". She did very well today in the interview and God has really blessed her with the ability to speak in front of others. (I did NOT get that gift) hee hee :) I went to all three church services this morning to give her support and to pray for her.

I have been very strict with her on boys and have had to fight a lot of battles with her. (she was the only one in the world that was never allowed to wear a 2 piece bathing suit you know) LOL ! I want her husband to love her for "her" and not her "looks". In the last year she has finally realized what I was talking about and has not dated anyone in the last year. Not that guys are bad but I want my girls to be loved as the bible states. Christ says ....

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her; 26 that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and blameless.

I know I have showed her by mistakes in my own life and have prayed since the kids were babies that they never have to go through the pain of divorce or pain of marrying someone who is not Godly and that God picks out the perfect spouse for them. I f God does not want them to be married I pray for contentness in being single.

Anyway I could go on and on of how proud I am of all my kids. Each in their own way. It is funny how we raise all our kids the same and how different each one comes out.

Pictures did not come out that well as they were with my phone and it is dark in the church.

It was a beautiful morning. Even though it came very early today as I did not get home from work until 1 am and had to be up at 6:00. *yawn*
